Fajitas Recipe

Hello everyone, we're coming at you with another delicious recipe and video. Our last video was just the starter, so you know it's time to serve up the main course. These fajitas are so yummy and so easy to cook.

Although not the traditional way to make fajitas, we promise this version is easier to cook and just as tasty. You'll be shocked at how well the broccoli fits into this recipe and how simple it is to put together.

With just 36 ingredients across all our recipes, you will be amazed how much we can cook.

Ingredients:

3 bell peppers

1 white onion

1 jalapeño

2 heads of broccoli

5 cloves of garlic

1 lime

paprika

cayenne

salt & pepper

cooking oil

protein of choice (1lb chicken or 1 block of tofu)

First, take out your protein of choice. Cube it, and toss it in 1 tbsp oil and spices before cooking. If using tofu, remember to dry the block before cutting it. For both the chicken and tofu, we used 1 tsp paprika, 1/4 tsp cayenne, and salt & pepper to taste.

To cook the tofu we air fried it at 400° F for 25 minutes.

To cook the chicken we fried it in a pan with hot oil. If you are wanting to use one pan for the chicken and veggies, take out the chicken after it's done cooking and add it back into the pan at the end.

Next we will cut up our veggies. For the broccoli, cut into small/medium sized florets. For the onion, we like to dice half the onion and cut the other half into half rings. The jalapeño and bell peppers should be cut into strips and don't forget to mince the garlic.

Heat up 2 tbsp oil in a pan, and once that heats up toss in all your veggies. After the onions start sweating, about 4-5 minutes depending on the size of the pan, spice the veggies with 3 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp cayenne, and salt a pepper to taste. Let the veggies cook with the spices for another 4-5 minutes then squeeze in the juice of one lime.

After a couple more minutes, your fajitas are done cooking. We decided to serve ours over a bowl over rice with the protein on top, but this recipe can be easily converted into tacos or burritos as you please. Enjoy!
